The trailer was designed in part by ASU’s Fulton Schools of Engineering and receives assistance from the Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation and its Healthy Urban Environments Initiative. It provides and air-conditioned area, free Wi-Fi, cold water and social resources. The unit goes to four parks on Wednesdays, as is part of the City’s heat relief effort, staffed by the Human Services Department and the Homeless Outreach specialists.
