The Biodesign Institute is master-planned as four interconnected buildings that will comprise 800,000 sq. ft. Currently, three buildings are complete and house more than 1,300 faculty, staff and students. Biodesign was the first facility in Arizona to earn platinum-level LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for environmentally friendly design. Biodesign A and B and C. <br />

The celebration brought together administrators and leaders of local Indian communities, to honor a community-building table for future generations of Indigenous People. Each of the 20 floors has a different desert botanical theme, brought in partnership with the School of Life Sciences, at the new Mirabella at ASU, on Monday, December 28, 2020, the first day residents can move into their new residences. The 20-story senior-living facility residents can take University classes, have access to the libraries, and are close to cultural and sporting events. Mirabella will offer opportunities to students from Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, College of Health Solutions and the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation.
