They developed a blueprint for improving the patient emergency department experience. After the nine-day workshop, five groups presented their Arizona Solutions for Global Health during the ideation pitch competition. The medical, academic and engineering professionals identified different hospital-based problems and generated innovative solutions within the given constraints. The pitches ranged from fast, energy-packed healthy snacks for medical providers to augmented reality glasses for neurosurgeons.
