DownloadTEMPE - Feb. 6, 2019 - ASU Now - Humanities Lab Immigration - A student makes sharp edges in the aluminum relief, which will be filled with wax, then attached to wooden supports, in Facing Immigration II, a Humanities Lab co-taught by Assistant Professor Emir Estrada and Associate Professor Alexander Aviña, on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019. The 13 students worked on making butterflies, a symbol of immigration and freedom, in repujado or metal embossing.
