Venture development director Tracy Lea interviews Arceate Health Innovation' Michael Li, a 3rd-year biomedical engineering student, and his collaborator Ben Voller-Brown, a third-year mechanical engineering student, at the Venture Devils Demo Day, Friday, December 3, 2021, at Skysong in Scottsdale. They were awarded $4,250 for their mosquito net repair kit that contains all the necessary materials to repair torn bed nets, keeping families safe from malaria for two years, as part of the Ashton Family Venture Challenge. Nearly 75 entrepreneurial ventures vied for more that $190,000 in cash and services at the Fall 2021 semester pitch competition produced by the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute.
