ASU Now - Bridging Success Blankets
DownloadTEMPE - Aug. 7, 2018 - ASU Now - Bridging Success Blankets - Psychology freshman Colby Nelson makes two-inch wide strips that he and his partner will the join by knotting the strips as they make a blanket for foster children from donated flannel material, Tuesday, August 7, 2018. The volunteers are part of Bridging Success Early Start, an ASU program for first-year students who were involved in foster programs. The blankets go to Helen's Hope Chest, a Mesa non-profit that provides support to foster children, so the young ones will have something soft, warm and cozy when they go into their placements.
