Professor Pamela Kulinna, of the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, is leading a Healthy Eating and Living in Phoenix project, funded with part of a $31 million allocation, to work with elementary, middle and high school students to develop healthy food choices and physical education activities. The money comes from the state’s Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief fund designed to help address local relief, prevention and preparation, and recovery efforts relative to responding to COVID-19.
