ASU Now - Herberger Day
DownloadTEMPE - Oct. 11, 2018 - ASU Now - Herberger Day - Interior design graduate student Hana Alaithan helps her six-year-old daughter Alaa Alsultan roll a slab of clay, part of the second Herberger Institute Day, on the Tempe campus, Thursday, October 11, 2018. The two are from Saudi Arabia. Alaa is on fall break and joined her mother in the ceramics activity. The 63 hour-long classes and activities were open to students, staff and faculty from all five Herberger schools and the ASU Art Museum. The day was conceived as an opportunity to connect across the Institute, to learn about the creative work being done in other departments and units, and to have time to collaborate, talk and build together.
