Commemorative shovels and ceremonial hardhats await use at the groundbreaking ceremony for a new facility in Phoenix. Ariizona State University's Downtown Phoenix campus and the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA were celebrating the beginning of a new $25 million student recreation center. Construction on the ASU Downtown Phoenix Campus Recreation Center (also known as the Y@ASU) will commence later this week on the 64,000-square-foot facility, scheduled for completion by 2013.
