ASU Foundation Professor Lois Brown hosts the Delivering Democracy dialogue with filmmaker, author, actor and educator Spike Lee on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Lee discussed various topics, including his youth, the influence of Morehouse and Spelman colleges, financing for his early films, the state of the nation, parenting, and his more than 30 years of teaching at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Before the conversation, Matthew Earl Jones, Jeffrey B. Guldner, Linda Williams, and Cloves Campbell II were honored with the Architects of Change awards.
