DownloadLAKE HAVASU - February 12, 2020 - ASU Now - Havasu STEM - Kaydence Chavez, 10, kneads water, glue and borax, making a rubbery polymer with ASU chemistry lecturer Ryan Nangreave, as she and other fifth-graders from nearby Nautilus Elementary School take part in a biweekly STEM class at ASU@Lake Havasu, Wednesday, February 12, 2020. The 22 students learned about terminology, chemical properties and calculating the measurements they needed for the combination of glue, water and borax to make the slimy substance.
