She is a former AISSS intern and graduated from ASU a year ago, with a degree in anthropology. She is of the White Mountain Apache and Navajo tribes. The Museum works with the University College's American Indian Student Support Services in a variety of way, including student internships, programs/visits organized for SPIRIT early-start and Inspire summer camp students, and the Eagle Spirit Awards that recognize top Native grads at American Indian Convocation.
