TEMPE - July 9, 2020 - ASU Now - COVID Testing - Meghan Herrick demonstrates giving Irene Mendoza instructions to fill the collection tube between a minimum and maximum level, at one of seven ASU employee COVID-19 virus testing sites, Thursday, July 9, 2020. The ASU Biodesign Institute, the first in Arizona to develop a saliva-based SARS-CoV-2 test, facilitates the screening, with results usually are available 24 to 48 hours. The test is available at no cost to faculty, students and staff. Herrick is the event coordinator with the Knowledge Enterprise.
