The W. P. Carey MBA Mexico City program is a partnership between the W. P. Carey School of Business and Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). The executive MBA program was recently ranked number one among MBA programs in Mexico, and number two among MBA programs in Latin America, by AméricaEconomía, a leading Latin American magazine for top executives in business and government.
In the executive program, students spend one week on the ASU Tempe campus. The 25 students will take a supply chain management course, and also visit Arizona businesses including Banner Baywood Heart Hospital, Avnet, Inc., and Basha’s distribution warehouse. The students will participate in case study activities, team presentations and lecture-discussions led by W. P. Carey faculty.
The first group of students to graduate from the program finished their degrees in August, 2006. The visiting group comprises the second cohort of students, who will graduate with dual MBA degrees from the W. P. Carey School of Business and ITAM, in August 2007.
