Eighty Arizona media outlets covered the event live on the day when there are reported 1598 known infected people and 32 deaths from the illness. Horizon’s Ted Simons and former 3TV anchor Carey Peña co-moderated the event that featured Gov. Ducey, Dr. Cara Christ, director of the Arizona Department of Health Services, Daniel Ruiz with the Arizona Department of Economic Security, and Maj. Gen. Michael McGuire the Director of the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs.
