Professor Barzin Mobasher XX a sample of the fiber-reinforced concrete, Tuesday, June 8, 2021, in his lab in ASU’s ISTB2. The sample is from the façade covering the Tempe campus’ new ISTB7 building. It will provide thermal insulation as well as an artistic appearance. Mobasher is a professor of civil and environmental engineering faculty in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment and is responsible for a broad and interdisciplinary research program dealing with theoretical and experimental mechanics of solids.
