Kristen Heller, a freshman education major, took time on Saturday, 9/12, to volunteer at the ACT Kids Health Fair held at the University Public School campus in downtown Phoenix. Ms.Heller's first client was Isabel Soto and her son; Damian Soto, 4, who were escorted through out the school as the Sotos took advantage of ACT's health screening services. The fair served over a 1000 people during the event serves at-risk children who are eligible for metropolitan Phoenix Head Start programs, but lack appropriate medical clearances.
