TEMPE - Feb. 9, 2017 - ASU Now - Regents' Professor Robert Nemanich - Physics department chair, Prof. Robert Nemanich, was recently named a Regents' Professor, the highest faculty honor conferred on full professors who have made remarkable achievements that have brought them national and international distinction. Nemanich is at the forefront of the developing technology of using diamond wafers instead of silicon wafers for high power electronics due to their improved efficiency and ability to function in high-temperature applications.
