Ayden Vasquez gets a hand from his thrree-year-old brother Miles Manalu as he moves into his room at the new Casa del Valle residence hall on the West Valley campus on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Vasquez is a third-year transfer student from Riverside, CA, and is focused on sports journalism. University Housing officials expected 262 residents to arrive on Sunday. The recently completed residence hall features 507 double occupancy suite-styled units, a social lounge, Zen, personal and study halls, a creation hub, a landscaped courtyard and more. Approximately 950 students will live on the west Phoenix campus, and nearly 16,000 will move into the four ASU campuses for the fall 2024 semester. Photo by Charlie Leight/ASU News
