Fourth-year biochemistry student Joanna Carvallo, left, and project coordinator Joseline Jimenez bring over another of the eight bags of garden soil as they and two other ASU SAGE affiliated students assemble a raised garden for preschoolers, Friday, October 28, 2022, at the Faith Lutheran Church in Phoenix. Sustainability via Active Garden Education is a free, garden-based physical activity and nutrition program that works with early care and education centers to teach healthy habits while meeting national guidelines for child health. The students will be planting seeds and tending the garden. SAGE is partially funded by National Institutes of Health. Photo by Charlie Leight/ASU News
