Navy CAPT Kati Hill, with ASU's ROTC program, speaks at the launch of the partnership between Home Base and ASU’s College of Health Solutions’ Military and Veteran Resilience and Health Collaborative, Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the A.E. England building in downtown Phoenix. The primary goal of the collaboration is to address the long-term physical health of the military-connected community by focusing on supervised programs on exercise, healthy eating, stress management, and the health benefits of physical activities. According to its website, “Home Base is a national non-profit dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war through direct clinical care, wellness, education, and research: all at no cost to Veterans, Service Members, and their Families.” Photo by Charlie Leight/ASU News
