ASU Now - Virtual Field Trips
DownloadTEMPE - April 8, 2020 - ASU Now - Virtual Field Trips - The Virtual Field Trip on the Red Rocks asks the question "Why is Mars red?" It explores Karijini Gorge in Australia and Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona to search for clues to the environments that formed the red rock formations. The field trips are topic-based interactive and educationally rich experiences captured during real expeditions with scientists doing current research. ASU's School of Earth & Space Exploration, School of Human Evolution and Social Change and ASU Online joined in the project with NASA's Astrobiology Institute, MIT, the Australian Center for Astrobiology, The University of Hawaii and Smart Sparrow.
