ASU News - Formula SAE tubes

TEMPE - Sept. 26, 2015 - ASU News - Formula SAE tubes - More than a dozen chrome-molybdenum steel tubes will become the chassis of the ASU Formula SAE race car over the next few weeks, as automotive engineers and gear heads start fabricating this years’ vehicle. Though many of the students are enrolled in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering automotive classes on the Polytechnic campus, the construction will take place in Tempe. The goal is to complete the construction in January, test and tune the vehicle and have it ready to compete in Lincoln in the spring. Photo by Charlie Leight/ASU News
