Ten-year-old friends Charlize Rodriguez and Leah Vollmer sign off after completing a live weather newscast at ASU Open Door on Saturday, February 3, 2024, on the downtown Phoenix campus. Both girls plan to pursue careers in TV. More than 1000 people came to get hands-on experiences with dozens of games, events and experiences ranging from learning about intubation and making elephant toothpaste to giving a weather report on the Cronkite News set.
