TEMPE - June 8, 2017 - ASU Now - Biomimicry Exhibit - Fine artist Alexandra Bowers uses a burning tool to replicate a feather she recently found, on a small wooden box, at the Tempe Center of the Arts, on Thursday, June 8, 2017. She is an artist in residence in the Biomimicry: Nature Inspired Design exhibit. Bowers earned her BFA from ASU in 2012, and explores through her art, her fascination with both feathers and seeds that are dispersed by the wind. The exhibit runs through Aug. 26.
