Associate Professor Jason Scott, the associate director of The Sidney Poitier New American Film School introduces students and panelists to the NFL 360 Masterclass for film students on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at the Media and Immersive eXperience (MIX) Center in downtown Mesa. Three directors and producers from the NFL Network’s group showed short samples of their recent productions, talked about the hows and whys of what they did and answered questions from the 50 students in attendance. The program was part of the the NFL’s celebration of Black History Month and the screening of group’s “The Indelible Legacy of Jimmy Raye,” a Black collegiate and NFL quarterback from the South.
