CHANDLER - Oct. 31, 2018 - ASU Now - Omani Local Motors - Local Motors manufacturing vice president and general manager Phil Rayer gives a tour of the Chandler facility with the Olli autonomous trolley vehicles, Wednesday morning, Oct. 31, 2018. Local Motors first vehicle was the Rally Fighter, an extreme off-road racer. The delegation was members of the 2018 SQCC ASU Omani Conference: Promoting Economic Development via Entrepreneurship and Innovation: Oman and the U.S. The Valley based manufacturer focuses on low-volume sustainable transportation created through open source design and utilizing multiple micro factories.
