More than 200 people tour at the ASU at Mesa City Center after its Grand Opening, Friday evening, October 28, 2022, in downtown Mesa. The Center houses the Media and Immersive eXperience Center (MIX), part of the three-site Sidney Poitier New American Film School. The two-acre facility also includes an outdoor plaza space with a 100-foot movie screen and The Studios, a repurposed mid-century building that houses programming and support services for local community entrepreneurs, through the J.
