ASU Now - Hyperloop

MESA - Jan. 20, 2017 - ASU Now - Hyperloop - Senior in Engineering Systems, Xunguang Li looks over the benchmarking specs for his controls team at the start of a Friday evening session, Jan. 20, 2017, with students working on their teams' contributions for the Hyperloop Final Design Package they'll soon submit to Space X officials. The 85-member team, AZLoop, is comprised of engineers, business and design students from the Polytechnic, Tempe and Thunderbird campuses as well as students from NAU and Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott. Hyperloop is a proposed ultra high-speed transportation system with passenger and freight pods traveling through near-vacuum tubes.
