2013 MLK Day of Service

The Telos Academy in Phoenix, along with the Sojourner Center and the Tiger Mountain Foundation were locations for the 2013 MLKing Day of Service.

Josh Chavez and Matthew Nevarez, both members of Episilon Sigma Rho fraternity, started their work day cleaning classrooms at the Telos Academy.
After the cleaning came the painting. Nancy Troutmon and Chinny Onoura, both members of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, the Telos Academy is located on the grounds of the church, along with ASU students Margarita Lopez and Nicolas Buenostro get to work.
Other projects included covering chairs with protective plastic. Annie Cairns, with Kappa Alpha Theta, and her brother, Thomas Cairns, a high school student, joined church member B.J. Hackett.
