ASU Now - Outstanding Grad Roy Wasson Valle
DownloadPHOENIX - December 4, 2019 - ASU Now - Outstanding Grad Roy Wasson Valle - MFA sculpture candidate Roy Wasson Valle created a vision of what colonized Mars will look like in the year 2268, for his graduate thesis. He used the face on Mars as inspiration for the logo of products he envisions being made there. The project was inspired by his work with ASU's Interplanetary Initiative. His project includes a research trailer for artists-in-residence, Mars rocks, logos, saguaro-like trees, and a 3-D mural of the red planet in the background. Photo by Charlie Leight/ASU Now
