ASU Now - Nuclear Fusion
DownloadTEMPE - Nov. 22, 2016 - ASU Now - Nuclear Fusion - Mechanical Engineering senior Ian Horvath discusses nuclear fusion, in the basement of the Goldwater Center for Science and Engineering, on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016. Horvath is using a modest $500 budget to modify the existing 30-year-old particle accelerator, including using a donated beer keg from Four Peaks Brewing to form a high-vacuum chamber, also known as a scattering or reacting chamber. The new chamber is undergoing testing and will be used in future experiments. Photo by Charlie Leight/ASU Now
