Pam DeLargy, the executive director of ASU's Education for Humanity, entertains the travelers with her stories from working at the United Nations while on board a Honeywell corporate jet taking representatives of the Department of Economic Security, International Rescue Committee and ASU from Phoenix to La Crosse, WI, Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Mike Madsen, CEO of Honeywell Aerospace, and an ASU alumnus, rode with the group and donated the Dassault Falcon F7X jet’s use. Justin Firestone, co-founder of Wheels Up, coordinated the flight, accommodations for the travelers, and arranged a chartered return flight to Phoenix which will include 64 Afghan women refugees staying at Fort McCoy in western Wisconsin, who will soon attend classes and complete their degree programs.
