DownloadTEMPE - July 12, 2016 - ASU Now - Porous Asphalt - ASU graduate student Jiachuan Yang talks about a study he's involved in looking at temperature and water retention of porous versus solid asphalt and concrete, at the test site owned by Decorative Paving Solutions in Tempe, on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. His findings conclude the porous and coated asphalt is 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit) cooler than solid non-coated asphalt.
