MESA - Jan. 10, 2017 - ASU Now - PECASE winner - Shawn Jordan, an engineering associate professor on the Polytechnic campus, sits next to a student’s Rube Goldberg contraption in his STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) lab, on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017. He is one of 102 scientists and researchers receiving the Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), the highest honor bestowed by the United States Government on science and engineering professionals in the early stages of their independent research careers.
