ASU Now - AZLoop
DownloadMESA - Mar. 31, 2017 - ASU Now - AZLoop - Project co-leads leads and Joshua Kosar, a robotics engineering senior, land Lynne Nethken, a mechanical engineering graduate student, share the news that their AZLoop is one of 24 finalist teams selected from a field of 1300 entries in SpaceX's Hyperloop Pod Competition, Friday, Mar. 31, 2017, on ASU's Polytechnic campus. Hyperloop is a high-speed transportation system that sends pods through a tube at speeds of up to 700 miles per hour. The AZLoop team is comprised of students from ASU's Tempe, Polytechnic and Thunderbird campuses as well as students from NAU and Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott.
