MESA - August 31, 2019 - ASU Now - DBS Family - Kimball Rogers sits with his 10-year-old grandson Kane, and six-month-old granddaughter Scottie, at Kimball and Sharon's Mesa home, Saturday, August 31, 2019. Five of their 20 grandchildren stop by for a visit before the elder Rogers take off for a three-week Utah vacation. It has been more than seven weeks since Kimball received deep-brain simulating implants at the Barrow Neurological Institute.
