RED ROCK - Jan. 11, 2017 - ASU Now - Red Rock Solar - The 182,880 solar panels, at the new Red Rock Solar Plant between Tucson and Casa Grande, will generate 40 megawatts of power to the electric grid. ASU and PayPal will purchase their split of that amount. The facility, located on 400 acres adjacent to the Saguaro Power Plant, was dedicated on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017.
