MESA - July 14, 2017 - ASU Now - AZLoop - The test sled holds parts of two braking arrays, but at times will hold both braking compenents and four magnetic levitation arrays, when it is taken to the test track on the Polytechnic campus. The ten sub teams are working on everything from testing magnets in the brake arrays to sanding and applying Bondo filler to the front and back halves of the competition vehicle shell that the AZLoop team will take to the August SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition in California.
