Benjamin Taylor is wrapping up his tenure as the president of the Arizona Bar Association and the first Black president in its 118-year history. He is photographed in his Phoenix firm’s office on Monday, June 10, 2024. The W.P. Carey alum worked for the Pima County Attorney’s Office and the Maricopa County Public Defender. His practice legal focuses on personal injury, civil rights, family law, criminal defense, and death penalty cases. He was a board member of the Maricopa County Bar Association. Taylor was recognized as a top 35 entrepreneur under 35 by The Arizona Republic and is a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award from both the National Bar Association and the Phoenix Business Journal.
