TEMPE - April 28, 2020 - ASU Now - Meeting the Moment - Jack McCain, son of the late Sen. John McCain shares an Afghan proverb - Drop by drop a river is made - at the conclusion of the Meeting the Moment: The Next Generation of Service webinar, Tuesday, April 28, 2020, focusing on the key role of service to the community and nation. The event featured two panels with the first discussing the importance of service and what can be done to improve how the nation responds to crises. The second panel looked at how to inspire the next generation of service leaders. ASU, The McCain Institute and The National Commission on Military, National, and Public Service coordinated the event and follow the National Commission’s release of its report on recommendations to Congress, the President and the American public.
