ASU Now - Hayden Concourse
DownloadTEMPE - August 21, 2019 - ASU Now - Hayden Concourse - Business communication freshman Caleb Ryan and anthropology junior Katelyn Roessel prepare for upcoming classes on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, in one of the large collaborative areas. Nearly half of Hayden Library's concourse level's 100,000 square feet is remodeled and now open, after the year-long construction. The upper floors are scheduled to reopen by the beginning of the spring semester. The concourse now houses eight classrooms, six group study rooms, a food service area, large bathrooms, plenty of collaborative spaces and so much more. In its reimagining the library of the future, Hayden has rotating book collections. They are part of the ASU Library's Future of Print initiative, which presents comprehensive, high-quality and user-focused print collections accessible for research and learning.
