DownloadTEMPE - Sept. 22, 2017 - ASU Now - LunaH-Map - The 3-D printed model of the LunaH-Map features a large red area on the left which is the radiation detector that will determine the presence and amount of water within the top meter of the lunar surface. The orange area is the star tracker that will determine the location of the control the attitude of the craft. The green area is the communication system with amplifiers and antennas for earth transmissions. The blue area controls the solar arrays, and the purple area is the iodine ion-propulsion system that will get the craft to the correct orbit around the moon. Photo by Charlie Leight/ASU Now
