Honoring the Allison Family
Download
This series of photos highlights the Allison family, three-generations of Native Sun Devils (past, current and future), who are well-known in the Native Sun Devil community for their volunteerism, giving back nature, and showing up at numerous campus events (American Indian Convocation, Cal Seciwa Feast, athletic games) to support our Indigenous students.
Parents Shawn and Eileen Allison attended and graduated from ASU, first meeting as students. In 1994 Shawn Allison kickstarted the family legacy when he received a B.S. in Finance followed with his M.B.A. in 1996. In 1997 Shawn’s mother Faye Allison received her Master of Social Work, and Eileen Allison earned her B.S. in Construction Management in 1998. All four of their children have followed in their parent’s path to become Sun Devils too. The children's grandparent has also graduated from ASU (not seen in the photos).
The Allison children include : Shandi (sister, the youngest child, seen in the photos with bangs), Junior (brother, is the oldest child and 2018 ASU graduate, seen in the photos with a short and precise cut), Shay (brother, current junior (FY20), seen in the photos with somewhat wavy hair), and Shalee (sister, who is a first-year student at ASU (FY20) who started this semester, seen with long straight hair).
