Guests dance to live Latinx American music from Guitarras Latinas, during the Fall '22 Humanities Lab Avanzando: Education Stories event and panel discussion organized by students and faculty from the Fall '22 Humanities Lab, Avanzando: Education Pathways at the Nelson Fine Arts Plaza at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona on Thursday, October 20th.
The panel discussion featured local community professionals who shared their personal career journeys and the pivotal role that the humanities have played in their success stories with Maryvale High School students, ASU students and audience members.
The event also featured a chalk mural designed by Humanities Lab students and a local artist to evoke the educational aspirations of Maryvale Village in Phoenix. Photo by Alex Cabrera/ASU News
