A panel discussion, moderated by Cheryl Hyman, vice provost of Academic Alliances at ASU, focused on “Beyond State Lines: Creating a Culture of Transfer.” One authority said, “Transfer students represent more than a third of incoming students enrolled in four-year institutions across the nation and a majority of these students start their college experience at a community college.
