U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor (ret.), who made history as the first woman to serve on the Court, urged graduates of the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University to recognize the power of the individual. The May 6th convocation address was the first time O’Connor spoke at graduation since the law school was renamed in her honor in 2006.
