Governor Jan Brewer signs HB2676, a bill that allows the Arizona Board of Regents to set up a University Athletic Facilities District (UAFD), on Sept. 25, 2010. Gov Jan Brewer signs HB 2676, a bill passed by the Arizona legislature that allows the Arizona Board of Regents to set up a University Athletic Facilities District (UAFD). The UAFD will collect revenues from commercial lease assessments for the improvement of property for new or existing athletic facilities at public universities. In addition to the Governor, other guests will include members of the Arizona Board of Regents and members of the Arizona legislature who sponsored the bill. ASU President Michael Crow.
