TEMPE - October 6, 2020 - ASU Now - ASU Research Park - One of the buildings is home to ASU's Macro Technology Works at ASU Research Park, in south Tempe. The site broke ground in December of 1984, and the first ground lease was with Transamerica in April, 1985. Currently the Park has ground leases with 24 different lessees, in 26 buildings totaling 2.2 million square feet. The Park is currently home to 48 companies employing over 6,000 Arizonans.
