The blade falls, but doesn't yet break a painted bone sample in the restraints as an ASU team partners with Mayo Clinic researchers to study the forensics of bone breakage. The study involves placing a human donor femur in a Columbus McKinnon drop-test press equipped with a 5,000 frame-per-second camera. The research on these samples is done on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, in ISTB 2 on the Tempe campus. Photo by Charlie Leight/ASU News
